Nottingham’s Old Market Square is found in the heart of the city centre. It’s easily accessed by road or by tram, coach or train. The square is completely pedestrianised, so it’s the perfect meeting or stopping place while exploring this vibrant city. Surrounding the square are cafes, restaurants and shops and within the square itself stand the fountains, the stone lions and the more recent addition of Nottingham’s Speakers’ Corner. For a long time, the Square has been central to life in Nottingham and plays host to a huge variety of events, fairs, concerts and exhibitions.
